Four-door coupe Audi has started to test at the Nurburgring

Audi has started lapping tests of a large four-door coupe Audi A7 on the famous "North Loop" Nurburgring. Photos camouflaged prototype of new items, made during the trial, on Wednesday appeared on several overseas websites. As previously reported, the model Audi A7 will take place between models of the Audi A6 and A8, and will be based on a modular platform, which was previously used for the Audi A8 the new generation. The base engine for the new items will be a three-liter V6 rated at 270 horsepower, and the range of petrol units will complement the 4.2-liter V8 (372 horsepower). Gamma diesel engines will include a three-liter V6 rated at 240 or 250 horsepower, and eight-cylinder motor of 350 hp (800 Nm). Transmission - automatic eight-and four-wheel drive quattro. Competitors Audi A7 will be the next generation Mercedes CLS and a similar model BMW, whose prototype was presented at a motor show in Beijing in late April. The debut four-door coupe Audi A7 will be held at the Moscow Motor Show in late August, and then show a novelty at an auto show in Paris. A7 Sales start in early 2011.
