Hatchback Audi A1 was 185-horsepower engine

Audi has extended the first details about the most powerful, 185-strong version of the urban hatchback A1, which will be equipped with 1,4 TFSI engine with dual charging. A similar power plant is already being used by the "charged" VW Polo GTI, Seat Ibiza Cupra and Skoda Fabia RS, but at the Aud A1 this engine will be equipped with not a "hot" version of S1, as previously assumed, but in a production car. Paired with 185-horsepower 1.4 will operate seven-step "robot" DSG with shift paddles, and from zero to a hundred miles an hour so the car can accelerate in 6.9 seconds. Maximum speed - 227 kilometers per hour, average (claimed) fuel consumption of 5.9 liters per hundred kilometers. In addition, the fastest A1 will brake discs 288 mm dimension in the front, stabilization system with the function of imitation interwheel-slip differential, as well as "sporty" body kit S line, 17-inch wheels and LED interior lighting. In Germany, the base price of 185-strong Audi A1 hatch will be 24 thousand euros, and its cost in Russia is not yet known. Competitor of a new modification becomes A1 Mini Cooper S, Turbo which, after a recent upgrade develops 184 horsepower.
