Audi plans to release a diesel version of the model RS4

Audi is preparing for mass production of one more "charged" version of car Audi A4, which will be equipped with the latest diesel engine V8. According to preliminary information, it will be a 4.2-liter turbo diesel engine, borrowed from the flagship Audi A8. The power of this engine makes 323 horsepower, and its maximum torque of more than 700nm. It may be noted that heavy Audi A8 with the engine accelerates from zero to hundred kilometers per hour in 5.9 seconds, so that more light to the new Audi A4 turbo diesel in its dynamic characteristics can quite compete with the top version of Audi RS4. Recall that the RS4 is equipped with atmospheric gasoline 4.2-liter V8 with 414 horsepower. From zero to hundred kilometers per hour, this version accelerates in just 4.8-seconds. Representatives at Audi have not confirmed the information about the serial production of such a modification of the diesel, but sources in the company reports that this issue is now being actively discussed in the leadership of the German mark.
