Audi has announced a new diesel model, a modification of Audi A8, which should appear on sale in late April of this year. Audi A8 3.0 TDI will receive a three-liter turbo diesel V6 rated at 233 horsepower and maximum torque which can reach 450nm. With the new flagship of the engine Audi will accelerate to sixty miles per hour in 7.8-seconds, and can reach a top speed of 243 kilometers per hour. At the same time, new engine fully satisfies the stringent environmental standards Euro 4 and consumes an average of about 8.4 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers. The cost of Audi A8 3.0 TDI in Germany is 60 500 euros, an increase of 17 300 euro less than the cost of modifications to the 272-horsepower diesel V8.
