Audi has introduced a new sporty hatchback S3, created on the base model A3, reports Worldcarfans.com. Externally, the new model differs from the basic big chrome grille, new bumpers and sills body, and also reduced to 25 millimeters of ground clearance. The new Audi S3 comes with a two-liter turbomotorm equipped with direct fuel injection. The power of this engine makes 265 horsepower, and torque of 350 Nm at 2.5 thousand RPM. It is worth recalling that the previous generation S3 was equipped with 225-horsepower 1.8 liter turbo engine. Acceleration up to a hundred miles an hour takes a S3 5,7 seconds and a top speed of a sports hatchback is 250 kilometers per hour. The car will be produced only in three-door body and receives a six-speed manual transmission. The cost of the basic configuration of the new S3 will be in Germany 35 000 250 euros.
