"Charged" Audi S6 and S7 will have diesel engines

Audi is planning to offer the first "charged" versions of the family S with two engines to choose from. According to the publication Car and Driver, will soon sport version of the new cars A6 and A7 can be ordered with either a three-liter diesel "six" with a capacity of about 300 horsepower (609 lb), or four-liter eight-cylinder engine, developing 450 horsepower. It clarifies the publication Car and Driver, the emergence of diesel vehicles S6 and S7 will enable Audi to increase competition in the BMW and Mercedes-Benz. These machines will be able to compete for customers with a BMW 535d, fitted with a motor on "heavy oil" power of 295 horsepower, and a Mercedes-Benz CLS350 CDI, accessories 262-strong unit. It is expected that the new diesel Audi modifications will only be available for the European market. In other countries still will be offered exclusively petrol cars. New four-liter turbo gasoline, in addition to models of the S6 and S7, also appears in the flagship sedan S8 (this car it will develop 520 horsepower) and a car brand Bentley. For vehicles the British brand will be available in two versions: with one and two turbochargers. In the first case, the power motor will make 415 horsepower, while the second - 555 horsepower. It is expected that the new Audi S6 and S7 come to market next year.
