Audi has launched a road test version of an open compact hatchback Audi A3. This new product is expected to be named Audi A3 Cabriolet and judging from spy photos, will get the traditional soft folding roof. The debut of the open version of Audi A3 will be held next March at the Geneva Motor Show. There is, as expected, will be first presented the basic models of Audi A3 with new design front end - in the style of the new Audi A4. The same design will receive a convertible and A3. The main competitor A3 Cabriolet will be a new version of the BMW 1-Series Convertible, which was presented in early October. The Bavarian car is equipped with a wide range of four-and six-cylinder petrol engines volume of 1.8 to three liters, and power from 143 to 300 horsepower. In addition to a convertible BMW will also be offered a two-liter 177-strong turbodiesel.
