British Journal for details on Audi TT RS

In the online information leaked about the new Audi TT RS. According to the publication Autocar, the car will be equipped with a five-cylinder engine with dual supercharged TFSI (turbo and compressor) power 335 hp. The engine torque is transmitted through a six-speed manual gearbox to all four wheels. To "hundreds" car accelerates in 4.5 seconds and average fuel consumption amounts to little more than eight liters per 100 kilometers. Perhaps, TT RS will be equipped with its own version of the magnetorheological suspension with shock absorbers, and an optional ceramic brakes. It is assumed that the assembly of motor vehicles will begin in the summer of 2009 and the first cars will appear in showrooms towards the end of next year. Audi TT RS will be available in versions of convertible and coupe. Price rival Porsche Cayman is not yet known, but it is expected that the coupe will cost about 72 thousand dollars, and the convertible will be more expensive than three thousand dollars.
