Abt has developed a 310-strong Audi S3

Atelier Abt Sportsline, known for its modifications of German cars, announced its own version of the tune sports hatchback Audi S3. Exterior of the car has remained virtually unchanged, while the main upgrade was subjected to the engine and chassis. Two-liter turbo package rework the engine, working together with six-speed manual gearbox, allows to increase its capacity, compared to base case, a 45 horsepower from 265 to 310 horsepower. Maximum torque has also increased from 350 to 420 Nm. With such a propulsion system tuning hatchback can accelerate to sixty miles per hour in 5.4 seconds, which is three tenths of a second faster than the base car. The maximum speed of 258 kilometers per hour. In addition, the studio upgraded suspension car, which involved setting up a well-known racer bodywork series DTM, and the owner of Abt Sportsline Abt, Christian (Christian Abt). Also, the sports package includes the installation of a new exhaust system and proprietary 19-inch alloy wheels. Recall that the other tuning studio also already submitted their sports packages for Audi S3. For example, motor vehicles crossed the MTM 330 hp, B & B Automobiltechnik to 362, and Wimmer to 408 horsepower.
