Audi Company intends to expand the range of engines for the A5 coupe with a new four-cylinder 1.8-liter gasoline turbo with direct fuel injection FSI. Capacity of the new engine, which will be aggregated with a six-speed manual transmission, 170 horsepower and peak torque of 250 Nm is reached at 1,500 rpm. With this powerplant Audi A5 can accelerate from zero to hundred kilometers per hour in 8.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 228 kilometers per hour. Average fuel consumption for such a car will make 7.1 liters per hundred kilometers. Cost A5 coupe with this engine will be in Germany 32 000 750 euros.
