On Wednesday, Audi has extended the first official information about the modification of the new generation A4 model car with the body "sedan", which was the traditional name Avant. The first such vehicle will be presented at the upcoming motor show in Geneva, opening in early March of this year. Compared with its predecessor, the overall length Audi A4 wagon has increased by about 12 centimeters and is 4.7 meters. The weight of the vehicle has decreased by ten percent through the use of the design of lighter materials. The amount of luggage novelty in the normal state is equal to 490 liters, while the rear seats folded 1430 liters. It is worth noting that the previous A4 Avant, the same figures were 442 and 1184 liters, respectively. For Audi A4 Avant will be offered with two petrol engines: a 160-strong turbocharged 1.8 liter engine and a 3.2-liter V6 rated at 265 horsepower. For the versatile range of motors also includes a turbo diesel in volume two and three liters, the first of which will be available in two capacities 143 and 170 horsepower (maximum torque of 320 Nm and 350, respectively). The three-liter unit develops a power of 240 horsepower, and its maximum torque of 500 Nm, which is already available from 1500 rpm. Depending on the modification of engines can be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, the "automatic" or CVT. In the European market selling station wagon Audi A4 will start this spring.
