British Car magazine has published the first official pictures of the new modification supercar Audi R8 Spider. The car will receive a body with a removable targa roof of the central part and go on sale in 2009. According to the publication, the technical filling of such a machine will not differ from the version with a body "coupe" - the novelty will be built on the modernized platform Lamborghini Gallardo and will be equipped with 412-horsepower eight-cylinder petrol engine of 4.2 liters of Audi RS4. Also, open-top with R8 having a system full drive quattro. In addition, it is expected that later the market will more powerful version of the car with a 500-horsepower V10. The cost of Audi R8 Spider, which will compete with the Porsche 911 with an open top is not yet known.
