Audi has expanded its range of engines for the TT Coupe and Roadster with a new four-cylinder two-liter turbo-diesel, which will be available only in conjunction with the company's all-wheel drive transmission, quattro. Engine power, which will initially be offered only in conjunction with six-speed manual transmission, 170 horsepower and maximum torque is 350 Nm. With such a propulsion diesel version of Audi TT coupe will be capable of accelerating from zero to hundred kilometers per hour in 7.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 226 kilometers per hour. Acceleration up to "hundreds" of a roadster takes on two-tenths of a second longer, and the maximum speed is three kilometers per hour less. Diesel engine meets not yet entered into force on environmental requirements "Euro 5". Average fuel consumption per hundred kilometers in the coupe and roadster will be 5.3 and 5.5 liters respectively. Prices for diesel version of Audi TT has not yet announced.
